The Dallas County Community College District had grown its online learning programs organically for two decades when Terry Di Paolo, executive dean of online instructional services, decided it was time to take a "holistic view" of the programs to assess quality and create an improvement plan that aligned with its accreditation work.

The winner of this quarter’s LeCroy Exemplar award has been described as an unsung hero who has steadily supported the LeCroy Values throughout a very long tenure with the LeCroy Center. This employee is accountable by providing good quality work, whether it be in editing or program development talents. This employee consistently collaborates on projects and communicates by listening to the needs of others all while wearing a smile and often times including a little humor. This employee strives to produce quality products as they see no other way. With demonstrated integrity in in understanding the role of job and the importance of students and faculty. This employee is genuinely interested in the responsibilities of the job and demonstrates respect for co-workers and others. This employee is a true professional who has done an excellent job representing the LeCroy Center throughout the district. Congratulations to Noel Cavazos, this quarter’s LeCroy Exemplar Award winner.
